Houghton plc has recently been certificated to the OHSAS 18001 specification for operations at it's Trafford Park site. This augments the company’s existing ISO9001 and ISO14001 accreditations and shows Houghton’s commitment to manufacturing quality products in a safe and green manner.
BSI auditors spent a day at Trafford Park auditing health and safety systems and Production, Maintenance and Laboratory areas after which Houghton’s new accreditation has been verified.
Kevin Goulden, QEHS Manager of Houghton said “After lots of hard work by all this is a fitting reward which shows the high standards we, as a company, operate to. Everyone at Houghton should take pride in this achievement”.
